Boutinot Wines (Cheshire) & Henners Vinyards (Sussex)
Site One- Henners Vineyard Sussex
Henners Vineyard is near the village of Herstmonceux in East Sussex, growing many grape types. It has visitors during the year taking part in tours and tastings. The company has several large, modern industrial units.
As part of an active sustainability policy, Henners approached our Sustainability Solutions team to install EV charging facilities for staff and visitors’ vehicles.
Project Outline
Henners wished to achieve an affordable system that would work with the electrical supply available, without costly power upgrades and could take payment for charging vehicles. Our lead engineers designed a system to achieve this.
Sustainability Soluctions keep up to date with all the latest payment gateways and the APP-based payment system chosen was TAP Electric.
The client wished to be provided with a ‘turn-key’ solution.
Site Two- Boutinot Wines Cheshire.
Boutinot Wines operate from a modern industrial park near Cheadle, Cheshire.
Project Outline
To contribute to an active sustainability policy, the administrative offices of Henners wished to have EV charge points for their employees.
Again, the clients wished to achieve a solution within budget, providing as many charge points as possible using the available electrical supply. In addition, they wanted a turnkey solution, including charge bay marking.
Project Challenges
Dynamic load balancing was designed as part of the system to make the best use of the available electrical supply.
We designed a system using charge points manufactured by Easee and again incorporated a payment system by Tap Electric.
The Results
The clients were ‘over the moon’ with the results at both sites. The installed charging facility looks stylish and fitting to their environment.
