With our Meel Group headquarters in Cheshire, we provide Electric Vehicle charge point servicing and maintenance to businesses and homes all across the northwest.
Warranties
Having installed your EV charge point system we will also be responsible for carrying out any work required under warranty. Warranty terms vary, depending on the manufacturer.
Non-warranty repairs
If you have a problem with an oldercharging system our expert EV charge point engineers can repair it.
On-going Inspection & Service
For businesses and organisations we offer a service agreement which covers everything you will need to keep your EV system functioning safely and effectively.

New installations are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and our team are here to help you through any problems or questions. All businesses and organisations benefit from both the standard warranty and support plus optional service agreements, keeping them covered to keep their EV network functioning safely and effectively.
12 months – EV Charger Inspection
Electrical condition inspection, covering:
- RCD operation
- General wiring checks
- General clean of unit
- Operational check
18 months – Checks and maintenance
Operational visual maintenance visit (OVMV), to include:
- Switchgear check (heat damage and terminal connections)
- RCD functionality (test only)
- Installation check (from source to charge unit noting any damage to clips, cables, distribution equipment, wall mounts/pedestals, bollards, wheel stops)
- Charger lead if tethered, or port lid
- Unit and signage – clean as needed
- Unit identity sticker check (when part of larger installation)
24 months – Inspection
Electrical condition inspection, covering:
- RCD operation
- General wiring checks
- General clean of unit
- Operational check
30 months – Checks and maintenance
Operational visual maintenance visit (OVMV), to include:
- Switchgear check (heat damage and terminal connections)
- RCD functionality (test only)
- Installation check (from source to charge unit noting any damage to clips, cables, distribution equipment, wall mounts/pedestals, bollards, wheel stops)
- Charger lead if tethered, or port lid inspection
- Unit and signage – clean as needed
36 months – Inspection and full 3-year report
Electrical condition inspection, covering:
- RCD operation
- General wiring checks
- General clean of unit
- Operational check
3-year report to include:
- Previous reports collated together
- Outline of any required works
- Recommendations for possible upgrades
Our Smart Monitoring software can monitor your installation making sure it performs efficiently and automatically alert and dispatch an engineer should a problem be detected.

We work with a very wide range of EV charge point manufacturers and can provide service or repair to older installations you may have.
Yes, you can leave your vehicle plugged in whilst you enjoy your day; once the battery is fully charged there is no need to leave your car plugged in anymore. The battery will remain fully charged until it is used.
Many of the manufacturers we deal with offer either 3 or 5-year warranties.
Smart chargers use firmware inside the unit. Firmware keeps your EV charger up to date with the latest models of electric vehicle coming on to the market. Firmware also improves the security and efficiency of your EV charger. We make sure the Firmware installed is up to date when we service the unit.
At Sustainability Solutions we have a large team of fully trained engineers. Contacting our call centre will ensure an engineer will be on their way to you very promptly. With company and fleet installations, we are able to monitor your EV charger remotely for you and our software can detect any problems and alert an engineer promptly.
