Beechfield Brands:  Car park EV charging for a textile company in Bury, Greater Manchester.

Site

Based in Bury, Beechfield Brands Limited is the HQ of four leading textile brands. Sustainability is high on the company’s priority, they have already been awarded Carbon Literate Bronze certification. The company wished to install free-to-use EV charge points in the car park for staff and visitors.

Project scope

They required a ‘turn-key’ solution of infrastructure design, civil works, installation and line markings. We used dynamic load balancing to ensure the system efficiently utilised the available power.

Contract arrangements

We were offered the work based on our skill-set, quote and reputation.

Proposal & results

We completed the project on time and budget with minimal disruption to the working of the business.
We selected workplace chargers manufactured by Easee. Easee products were an excellent match for this project as they have no subscription costs and free back-office software.  While the system is currently configured to allow for the free use of the charge points should the client wish to add a payment system, this can be easily implemented.
